What does the course cover?

There has been a lot of hype about digital fundraising in recent years. One minute crowdfunding is the “next big thing”, the next it is Facebook Donate. Who knows what it will be tomorrow?! With digital technology constantly evolving and an ever-growing number of platforms it can be hard to know where to begin. This session can help you to decide how digital fundraising can fit into your fundraising strategy, and how to decide which channels and platforms are right for you.

This one-day session will answer questions you and your organisation might have about digital fundraising, including:

  • What is Digital Fundraising?
  • What are the strengths and weaknesses of different digital channels?
  • What information do we need to have on our website?
  • How can we receive donations online?
  • How do you run a crowdfunding campaign?

At the end of the session you will have greater understanding and confidence in:

  • Telling a compelling story throughout your website
  • Deciding which digital platforms are right for you
  • Planning and running a successful crowdfunding campaign
