David leads a group discussion with a group of 8 arts fundraisers

“David is a very knowledgeable, professional speaker who puts people instantly at ease with his friendly, approachable manner. He has always been very flexible, clearly explaining concepts in a way that is accessible and easy for all delegates to take away and apply to their own organisations.”

Providing fundraising training for museums in partnership with SHARED Enterprise

Since 2016, Apollo Fundraising has been providing fundraising training for museums across the East of England. Our training has covered a wide range of topics, including:

  • Individual Giving and Relationship Fundraising
  • Developing a Legacy programme
  • Major Gift fundraising
  • Fundraising from Trusts and Foundations
  • Planning Fundraising campaigns
  • Data Savvy Fundraising – an introduction to GDPR
  • An introduction to Digital Fundraising

In addition to one-off training courses, we have been providing in-depth training for three cohorts of museums in the East of England. Working with six museums in each cohort, we have been providing training and support to help museums improve their fundraising from Trusts and Foundations (one cohort) and Individual Giving and Legacies (two cohorts).

Thanks for your interest in the Apollo Foundation…but I’m afraid this Foundation doesn’t actually exist!

This webpage forms part of Apollo Fundraising’s “Through A Funder’s Eyes” workshop, where we give fundraisers the chance to experience grant-fundraising from the funder’s perspective. The exercise is designed to help you see your own trust proposals, cultivation and research in a completely new light.

So, while the Apollo Fundraising can’t actually provide you with a grant for your work, perhaps it can help you to secure more grants from those funders that do exist.
