Inspiring a Culture of Philanthropy

Thanks to support from Heritage Lottery Fund, the ‘Inspiring a Culture of Philanthropy’ programme is supporting 30 museums across the Hampshire and Solent area to develop their fundraising skills.

In January 2017, David delivered a training session on “Making the Ask” as part of the “Inspiring a Culture of Philanthropy” programme. In November and December, David collaborated with Richard Sved (Director, 3rd Sector Mission Control) to deliver two new training sessions – “Building Momentum in Fundraising” and “Using Volunteers in Fundraising”.

This webpage forms part of Apollo Fundraising’s “Through A Funder’s Eyes” workshop, where we give fundraisers the chance to experience grant-fundraising from the funder’s perspective. The exercise is designed to help you see your own trust proposals, cultivation and research in a completely new light.

So, while the Apollo Fundraising can’t actually provide you with a grant for your work, perhaps it can help you to secure more grants from those funders that do exist.
